SAT/ ACT Secrets

Success on the ACT and/or SAT begins with having a strong math and English foundation. At the end of the day, the ACT and SAT measure the knowledge your student has cultivated in given areas. Students seeking “tips and tricks” for the exams, will fall short if they don’t first have a solid understanding of the subjects. Bulk up on your fundamental math and English background, then add those time saving “tricks and tips” at the end.

It’s easy for us to ignore weaknesses in our students’ foundations, but reinforcing them before ACT/SAT prep rolls around is the best way to insure your student’s success. Realistically, a student needs 3 months to prepare for the exams. You should be setting aside 4 hours a week plus 30 minutes for daily homework. Happy prepping!
